Who we are

The full name of our institution is the State Commission of the Russian Federation for Selection Achievements Test and Protection (FSBI «Gossortcommission»).

The institution maintains the unified public service for testing and protection of selection achievements; manages the scientific, methodological, organizational and economic activities of the branches under its jurisdiction; participates in the implementation of measures aimed at protection and use of selection achievements, as well as in relevant international cooperation.

The Gossortcommission plans and conducts identification and selection achievements tests in terms of feasibility throughout the Russian Federation, collects and analyzes test results, makes decisions on the inclusion of varieties in the State Registers and publishes:

• Annual State Register of the Admitted Selection Achievements

• Annual Characteristics of the New Entries to the State Register of the Admitted Selection Achievements

• Monthly Newsletter on Newly Submitted Applications for Selection Achievements
